If it’s Halloween, then it must be the season for scary movies. Not for me though; I hate horror films. While the rest of the world are busy heralding the upcoming horror movies, I will be at the bookstore looking for new titles to boost my library.
I stopped watching those kinds of movies when I was a teenager. I easily get scared, so why should I torture myself? I absolutely don’t like the fact that I get scared by things that were invented by other people and put on a screen. Funny, though, my sister loves these films. She usually catches the thrillers at the cinemas or rents DVDs. She always invites me, but I never go. I just can’t, really.

I’m an avid war games player. I have all the necessary gear and I play every month. Every time I play, I make sure that I have everything that I need during a game. I bring extra paintballs, CO2 cartridges and even an extra paintball gun. This is why I have yet to lose a game.
When playing these war games, keep these things in mind:1. Be properly protected. Those paint balls can sting really badly. 2. It’s always better to have extra stuff than to run out in the middle of play. 3. Observe proper war games protocol. 4. Clean your gear properly to keep them performing well.

In Medieval history, warriors and gladiators are among the well-respected individuals. They are always suited in the best armor. Medieval helmets are often very intimidating in style. They have to exude an air of fierceness and bravery. Typically they are made of the strongest, heaviest metals and can weigh anywhere from 10 to 20 lbs.
In the olden days, the way a warrior’s helmet is built often signifies his rank in the army. These days, medieval helmets are often used as decorative elements or as costumes in medieval fairs and events. They are made from metals that are not as heavy as the authentic helmets. The most popular kind of medieval helmet is probably the one seen in the movie The 300.
