As a film student, I have always been enamored by those old movies which relay various stories about warriors and combatants in the old days. I have had that fascination with fight scenes and battles ever since I was a little kid; and my passion for movies have been with me as far as I can remember. It was because of my father who was also into world history.

For his birthday, I got him one of those Star Trek plastic model kits which I saw online. I wanted to be able to contribute at least one thing in his collection, so he would know how much I am aware of the things and interests he is in. After having our boat for a few years now, my husband would need to invest in a few new items which would help us to get the boat back in its great pristine condition. My friends and I love to make scrapbooks to remind us of the great memories we have experienced in our lives. This is my way of coping in this sometimes tiring and mad world. Looking back at wonderful memories would allow me to realize how lucky I still am compared to others. This way, I can go on with my life and appreciate the things which I have right at this very moment.

Every time I feel depressed or weary I make it a point to get my scrapbooks and be reminded of great memories of the past. Whenever I get out for vacations or trips I would immediately buy a new scrapbook along with scrapbooking embellishments which I would use to post those pictures and mementos I have of the trip. This is the best way for me to feel particularly content and happy in my life despite the struggles I may have.
